The Grandmothers' Village Project (GVP) is dedicated to creating eco-sustainable, Net-Zero housing for BIPOC elders aged 50 and above with low to moderate incomes. We also provide relevant life/living resources, support, community, relationship building, and education for our elders. Our goal is to develop a government-subsidized, eco-sustainable Intentional Community for BIPOC Elders that provides clean energy and energy efficiency.
Extending beyond housing, we will also
provide our elder community with vital programming, resources, and nurturing relationships,
create an agriculture and food/farm system, and build a winter greenhouse to grow healthy, organic produce and herbs year round to supplement our elders' food costs through ancient regenerative, permaculture agricultural methods.
